Greetings from Crawford, TX!
I just wanted to chime in from my lovely mobile AustinExhaustion headquarters here in Waco, TX, where I've just gotten back from a day out at Camp Casey! I spent the first two hours talking to people who were coming out to show their support and just getting acclimated to the extreme heat.
Then Fausto, Madge and Patricia Fernos showed up and they got down to business with podcasting. It was definitely a learning experience to work along side of them in getting interviews and I even got to be camera-op on some stuff Madge did for Insane Films, and that's just day one. I really look forward to returning tomorrow and getting more interviews as I work on my technique! It's been really good practice.
I'm still processing a lot of what I experienced out there at Camp Casey but it was empowering to be out there with so many like-minded people.
A voice is beginning to rise up where there was only silence before. Amongst so many other things I learned today, I came to understand that what's happening in Crawford is bigger than Cindy Sheehan, bigger than any one person; it's taking on a life of its own right in front of us.

Thank you so much Fausto!
This weekend was a great opportunity to see world events with my own eyes, instead of having to take what the mass media claims as reality.
Yeah, I know what you mean Mr. B– It felt so weird to be there and then come home and see what the news media covered, it's like they made it ALL up.
